Help at the RGT Returnables Shed at the Leverett Transfer Station
In June 2010 we celebrated One Million Bottles and Cans!
In 2014, volunteers processed over 80,000 bottles and cans.
That means every year those bottles and cans contribute $4,000 to RGT (5 cents at a time)
Many volunteers volunteer their time at the bottle shed 1 morning every 2 months.
Yes, I think I can help.

Remembering Les Allen (1940-2018)
It was Gordon King’s idea to set up a system for collecting returnable cans and bottles at the Dump (now the Transfer Station) as a funding source for RGT.
It was Les Allen who organized us: built the recycling shed, set up an efficient processing system, trained new folk, AND asked us to save every aluminum can tab for the Springfield Shriners Hospital for Children.
With your help, we will carry on, but we will miss our coach.
